About Legacy Park

Legacy Park is a large subdivision sort of hidden away in Kennesaw Georgia. By first glance you would never assume how large this subdivision actually is. A small entrance and a lake greets you in the front. behind that and the nest of trees is a massive circle that takes you around to 12 different subdivisions. All are different some have playgrounds and pools. They are all very well kept and seem to be home to many families. Inside the circle there is a massive green space featuring many soccer fields. Multiple trails that emersed you in nature. 2 pools fully staffed, and 3 tennis courts. There is also a full-sized basketball court, with a shooting machine. The map below gives a great representation on how the subdivision looks.

Scenery

I had a great experience at Legacy Park. I walked the trails and swam in the pools. And hangout and observed the people and scenery. Above are pictures of things I found interesting. The creek that flows through the middle of the green spaces. When I went it was particularly high and the sound of the water flowing was nice. There are many massive ancient trees but this one caught my eye It reminded me of the tree from Harry Potter which whacked its unsuspecting victims. Another thing that caught my eye were the baby pinecones. I had never seen or thought of these before and it was cool getting to see them.

Wildlife

Legacy Park has a wide variety of wildlife for being in such an industrialized place. In my brief visits was able to see multiple species of birds. I was able to see multiple deer (one I captured a picture of seen above). The deer here are not scared of humans probably because they are constantly surrounded by them. Legacy Park also goes through many measures to make sure they have a wide variety of wildlife. One way is their bird feeders I saw multiple of these and captured a picture of one as shown above. This keeps it very diverse. Also, another critter enjoys the bird houses. The squirrels I witnessed them raid multiple bird houses in search of food. It was a great ecosystem with lots of wildlife a great place to hang out and enjoy nature.
